Four:
One to hold the handle (in this case, Steven Collins, director of the Tall el-Hamman Excavation Project).
One to take the picture.
One to aim a light reflector.
And one to supervise the project.
And that's just the picture-taking portion of the job. The most time-consuming portion is the labeling, selection, & cropping of the photos, followed by the web-page construction, followed by a day of rest to recover from the back strain (notice the posture of Dr. Collins & Mike Luddeni, & multiply that over the course of a 12-hour work-day). Each day I grow more amazed at what God enabled me to accomplish way back in 2002-2003, long before I became a high-performance athlete!
Oh, & don't forget the time it takes to construct & check composite drawings of the original seals from the photos of partial impressions, vs. the time it takes to steal the drawings, erase certain features, claim them as your own work, & then aid/abet the dishonesty. All in a day's work for world-renowned university professors, but I digress...
I'm currently drafting an extremely long post about Dr. Collins & TeHEP, & thought this would make a light-hearted teaser.
