Official Inauguration of Tel Hebron

Tonight I received an E-mail from The Hebron Fund announcing a celebration next week that I'd really like to attend, but it would be a bit beyond my normal walking/jogging/biking distance!

"This Tuesday is the inauguration of Tel Hevron - the Israel Antiquities Authority and the Israel National Parks Authority site. To attend, see flyer below. We also have a dedication ceremony for a donor and much more:

Official Inauguration of Tel Hebron, Tuesday October 16, 2018 at 6:00PM.

Tel Hevron has always been known as one of the oldest sections of the city, but the 2014 excavation by the Israeli Antiquities Authority took the site to another level by uncovering mikvot, wine presses and pottery.

Speaking at the event in a "TED Talk" style lecture series will be:
* Prof. Gershon Bar-Kochba
* Noam Arnon
* Prof. David Ben Shlomo

A musical performance by world-renown Israeli singer David D'or will take place.

The ceremony will be presided over by:
* Avraham Ben Yosef, head of the Hebron municipal committee
* MK Uri Ariel, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development
* MK Eli Ben-Dahan, Deputy Minister of Defense
* Shaul Goldstein, Head of the Israel Nature and Parks Authority

The event is sponsored by the Israel Antiquities Authority, the Israel Nature and Parks Authority, and the Jewish Community of Hebron.

Since that page won't last as long as Hebron has, here's a screenshot showing their H2U:
